I was born in 1952 in a small town of Kulyab, Tadzhik SSR,
I do not have recollections about this town because I spent my childhood in Samarkand,
one of the ancient cities, same age as Rome.
I was attracted by walking at colorful oriental bazaars.
My friends from art-studio always accompanied me in these walks.

We were taught impressionism,
which was considered very effective and precious in the east and in Samarkand.
Out teacher was A. Larina, follower of Benkov.  

 

 

 

In 1973 I graduated from State Architecture Institute.
From 1974 to 1983 I lived and worked in Naberezhnye Chelny.

I am a member of Artists’ Union of Russia,
participated in exhibitions in cities along the Volga.
At present, I teach art.

  My religion is Christianity;
that is why my credo is
“Everything I do is to the honor of my Lord.
And Jesus Christ is the cornerstone for me.”
